Default I kept Jade Quarry alive for three hours.

And I only got to play twice. We played a total of ten games.

What is it about Jade Quarry that turns people off? Is it that nobody ever goes there? That same thinking is probably the reason nobody goes there anyway.

Why is Jade Quarry so bad, besides its drop-dead activity? Is there any way we can make it worthy of being played on par with Fort Aspenwood? I don't think I've ever seen Jade Quarry active by itself since we had the double Kurzick/Luxon Faction weekend when the titles were revamped.

Edit: Perhaps in the future, I can encourage many of you to come play with us all and bring the Quarry back to life for a while again.

From what I've been told, its easier for luxons to win than kurz so it's unpopular (just what I heard, I've never done it) So even when people want to do it, good luck getting enough people together there

If I remember correctly, It was more popular than Fort Aspenwood during the Open Beta weekend. Don't know what happened.

Both Fort Aspenwood and Jade Quarry don't give as much faction as AB or FFF. The concept of Jade Quarry is also pretty bad. Covering an NPC while he slowly brings Jade back to your side is just boring to me. I prefer Fort Aspenwood since it requires some degree of strategy, and the Kurzicks and Luxons have two completely different roles. Maybe if some improvements were made to Jade Quarry to make it more fun, then people might actually start to play it.

I've only lost to the Luxons once, and every time I was Luxon (which was once or twice), we won.

It's only a total escort mission if all you're doing is winning. You need two evenly leveled teams to really get it to be something fun. The problem is, that's hard to do when you can only pull from so many people that really want to do Jade Quarry. I'm having trouble keeping it active because Luxons keep failing, and so they leave, and so all the games we have are ending up being a sweep for the Kurzicks, which does turn it into a boring escort.

If we can get an active player-base, we might not have that problem.

I know, that's another big flaw of it. Aspenwood is closer, and everyone talks about it. Nobody talks about the Quarry, so nobody really ever bothers to go there, therefore cutting down the player base.

Aspenwood is really a lot more fun. The few times I tried quarry, it was pretty much shrine capping on steroids. Unlike in AB, you don't have to stop to cap the shrines, so anyone who can clear a shrine in seconds dominates. There's really not much point in attacking the jade carriers or other players, making it kinda lame.

I saw you there, I'm glad I could help.

Anyways, it's late for me right now, so I'm gonna go to bed. Quarry's closed, unless someone else wants to bear my burden of pulling everyone else together.
